How to use the software?

If you wish to scan all devices
Go to the IP scanner or IP scanner by IP scanner
On the results tab, select “Scan all devices”
For updating the DNS server
Go to the IP scanner or IP scanner by IP scanner
Click on the “Scan the DNS server” option
Select the host name to update
Click on the “Scan the DNS server”
It will take some time to scan the DNS server

Treatment of childhood retinoblastoma with external beam radiation has been widely used since the 1940s. With better methods of delivering radiation and a more complete survey of retinoblastoma patients, it is important to consider the dose of radiation as a prognostic factor for patient survival. The purpose of this study was to determine if there was a correlation between the dose of radiation to the optic nerve, as well as dose to the fovea, and patient survival in an unselected group of patients with retinoblastoma. The records of all patients treated at The Children’s Memorial Hospital and at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County, Chicago, Illinois, between 1945 and 1975 were reviewed. The records were evaluated for the following variables: patient’s age at diagnosis, gender, race, tumor laterality, tumor location, the stage of the disease, histopathology, the total radiation dose, and the dose to the optic nerve and to the fovea. Cox regression analysis was used to evaluate the effect of the radiation dose to the optic nerve, the fovea, and the total radiation dose on patient survival. The survival of all patients with retinoblastoma was 71% at 5 years and 59% at 10 years. When stratified by disease stage, survival was 97% for patients with stage I, 94% for patients with stage II, 68% for patients with stage III, and 32% for patients with stage IV. Tumors with optic nerve invasion survived at a significantly better rate than tumors without optic nerve invasion (p = 0.05). Patients with tumors that were located posterior to the fovea had a significantly worse survival rate than those with tumors that were not located posterior to the fovea (p = 0.01). Patients with tumors that received higher doses of radiation to the optic nerve and to the fovea had a significantly worse survival rate than patients with tumors that received lower doses (p = 0.03 and p = 0.02, respectively). In multivariate analysis, a dose of radiation to the optic nerve greater than 1000 rad was associated with a 10% higher risk
